Clothing
When prisoners arrived at Auschwitz, they had their original clothes taken away from them immediately.
The men were given a uniform that consisted of a vest, hat, pants, and a coat. Women received slack dresses. Important parts of their uniform included the Star of David and the triangles were either pink, green or red. If prisoners survived they would get new clothing about every six weeks, but keep in in mind that the clothes they slept in were also the clothes they worked in.
